This award recognises an outstanding individual who stands out as an unofficial “ambassador” for this vital and hardworking sector. Their commitment, skill, and achievements are an example to others across their charity.
In their key role, the winner of this award may work alone, volunteer for a charity, or be part of a small or large legacy team. They use their time, considerable experience, ability, and dedication to deliver outstanding results for their organisation and to spread the message of legacy giving. They regularly engage with organisations and charities across the sector, shaping the debate on legacy fundraising or administration, and educating the wider charity community on legacy giving strategy.

Judges will be particularly interested in entries spotlighting individuals who are outstanding multitaskers, using their ability across several legacy areas. The entry should focus on the 12–18 months before the awards entry deadline.
Eligibility
This individual can be self-nominated or nominated by a colleague.
This award is open to charity professionals or charity volunteers working in or with legacy giving teams.
All sizes of charity can enter this category – please ensure you state your legacy team size and legacy income total for the preceding year on your application form so judges can consider your entry in relation to those facts.
