To help keep the attendance prices as accessible as possible for all sizes of charities entering & attending, securing support from partners is essential. In return, we will work with you to understand your marketing and branding goals and help you build new connections and amplify thought leadership messages through our network.   Our experienced and talented team are fully committed to delivering high quality standards at every stage of the process, from entry campaign launch through to on-the-day delivery, offering you the opportunity to attach your brand to a best-in-class event for the sector.  

Opportunities available for 2025: 

Category Partner

  • Align your brand with an existing award category, or work with Smee & Ford to build a custom category to gain exclusive insights into the sector  (all categories to be confirmed by 31st August 2024).
  • Join the high-profile judging panel and gain access to all entries for your category, providing you with unique, detailed insights into legacy strategy that you won’t find anywhere else   
  • Meet with other judges to discuss your views on the entries and shortlist, and confirm the winners in round two of judging (Feb 2025).
  • Two places to attend the awards day (drinks reception, lunch and ceremony), and present your category’s award on stage to the winning organisation alongside our celebrity host. 

Thought leadership Partner [New for 2025] 

  • Utilise the wider platform of Smee & Ford and highlight your brand via thought leadership and promote the key benefits of entering and winning a Legacy Giving Award. 
  • Collaborate with us to host a pre or post-awards bespoke webinar or roundtable discussion  to build your connections with the charity legacy sector,  and further underline your expertise and knowledge.
  • Opportunity to be involved in one of the panel discussions  at the Excellence Forum and to sit alongside other industry leaders to help shape the future of legacy-giving    
  • Confirm your organisation’s role as a trusted and knowledgeable partner and advisor to the legacy community   

Branding and marketing   

  • Be associated with a 9-month marketing campaign from September 2024 through to the awards ceremony in April 2025  
  • Logo and branding at the awards venue, to ensure brand recognition on the day   
  • Benefit from multi-channel exposure and promotion to our wide legacy sector audience 

 On the day  

  • Host your selected guests for the awards  drinks, dinner and ceremony on 24th April 2025 
  • Presentation of an award to the winner of a category on the stage in front of 300+ guests, alongside our celebrity host.     
  • Network with your connections, or meet new faces at the Drinks Reception   

LGA Bursary Programme 

As not all shortlisted charities can access the funds to attend the awards event in London. We will, for the 3rd consecutive year, be running a bursary programme that will offer places to a limited number of shortlisted entrants. As a partner to the bursary programme, you will host a table of 5 - 10 bursary-place guests, enabling those charities more in need of your support to ensure they’re in the room.
