START YOUR ENTRYThe Future Leader Bursary was created to support individuals who are new to a legacy or in-memory role, having joined within the last three years. It aims to recognise a future legacy leader and help advance their career through dedicated mentorship over a six-month period.
There will be three winners in this category. Each will receive six one-hour sessions of group mentoring with experts from across the Legacy Futures companies. These sessions will help develop skills and provide practical support and guidance.
The bursary is awarded based on an assessment of experience, performance, and potential. Winners must inform Legacy Futures of any changes in circumstances (e.g. change of role or funding received elsewhere) as soon as possible via hello@legacyfutures.com.
Eligibility
Open to individuals working or volunteering for charities or not-for-profit organisations in the UK.
No substitutions or additional funding (e.g. travel or consultancy) are included.
Entrants should be able to attend the Legacy Giving Awards event on 29 April in London, where the awards will be presented.
Winners must be willing to provide a short article or quotes for future publicity, and consent to their photograph being used in promotional materials.
A 200-word reference from a direct line manager or senior colleague must accompany the application.
